Meet Scott Yonover

Scott Yonover is a dynamic and goal-driven attorney, known for his unique ability to connect people and foster relationships. His extensive background spans government, real estate, law and entertainment, making him a versatile and influential figure across multiple sectors. A relationship builder and leader, Scott excels in problem-solving and strategy development.

Scott began his career in Indianapolis with the law firm Dann Pecar, focusing on state and federal tax matters. During this time, he also assisted with various local, state, and federal campaigns, and served on the staff of the Republican National Convention in 1988 and again in 2008. An internship with Dan Quayle provided him with valuable political insights before he before he became Special Assistant to Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith. In this role, Scott contributed to high-profile projects, including the new facility for the Indiana Pacers, financing for Victory Field, and multiple infrastructure initiatives.

After his tenure in Indianapolis, Scott worked for two talent agencies in Los Angeles, as well as for NBC Universal, where he served as Director of Business & Legal Affairs for a syndicated daytime television show.

Returning to Chicago, Scott joined Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s administration as Deputy Director of Finance, focusing on privatization projects and collaborating with the city’s aldermen on impactful community initiatives. Post-municipal government, Scott represented numerous clients in the entertainment and broadcasting sectors and now lobbies at both state and local levels in Illinois and Indiana with a focus on health care, entertainment, and energy sectors.

Scott is a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He also holds an MBA from the DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He is admitted to practice law in Indiana, Illinois, Washington, D.C., as well as before the United States Supreme Court. Scott was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Mike Pence and is a proud inductee of the Munster High School Alumni Hall of Fame, Additionally, Scott served as President of the Indiana Society of Chicago and the Chicago Committee of the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
